The employment landscape for Iowans with disabilities is changing. Individualized integrated employment is becoming the preferred choice. As rehabilitation professionals, our goal is to develop services, strategies and supports to assist Iowans with disabilities to realize “real jobs with real wages”!
This statewide event is the only Iowa conference focused solely on the advancement of integrated employment for individuals with disabilities. The event draws together leaders from across the state and nation to network, as well as share state-of-the-art strategies to move the needle forward toward equitable employment for all citizens with disabilities. Based on past conference attendance, we anticipate over 150 participants including self-advocates and their families, local businesses, legislators, employment support professionals, and more, all of whom have a vested interest in moving integrated employment forward.
