The Heat is On!

August 15-16, 2018 in Des Moines, Iowa

The employment landscape for Iowans with disabilities is changing. Individualized integrated employment is becoming the preferred choice. As rehabilitation professionals, our goal is to develop services, strategies and supports to assist Iowans with disabilities to realize “real jobs with real wages”!

This statewide event is the only Iowa conference focused solely on the advancement of integrated employment for individuals with disabilities. The event draws together leaders from across the state and nation to network, as well as share state-of-the-art strategies to move the needle forward toward equitable employment for all citizens with disabilities.

The conference featured more than 180 participants, with speakers coming from as far and wide as Maine and California! We celebrated award winners, listened to Senator Tom Harkin, and attended breakout sessions focused on moving integrated employment forward.
